Who can use Equal Opportunity for Students with Special Needs ESA?
Mississippi students with a current or recent IEP whose families have an active ESA award. Eligibility requires Mississippi residency, an IEP within the past five years, and enrollment outside the public-school system under the program's rules. Award slots depend on the annual appropriation and any waitlist maintained by MDE. The program is administered by the Mississippi Department of Education (Office of Special Education).
